My interest in Woodturning commenced in 2007 after completing an eight week course. I joined the Gosnells Woodturning Group in 2012. They are a member club of the Woodturners Association of Western Australia. Since joining I have won many prizes in the Association’s competitions. I like to turn items which test my abilities and skills, I am always looking for new challenges. A piece of wood that appears very plain, when turned and finished, can transform into a beautiful piece of artwork.
