I am an abstract painter using acrylics, soft media and collage. My non-objective paintings seek to create compositions which intrigue and attract the viewer for a closer look at details while maintaining design principles. My process starts playfully building and removing layers until I find the marks and shapes I want to keep. Not knowing the final result helps me to discover my own visual language which currently is a combination of boldness and delicacy, order and spontaneity. I have exhibited in many WA exhibitions including Upmarket Art Fair. My present influences are Judy Woods, Ric Burkitt and Gayle Mason and I majored in painting at Curtin University.
