I have been painting watercolours for over 20 years and the medium still enthrals me. I aim for an “abstract realism” style, allowing viewers room for interpretation, rather than aiming for precise depictions.
Drawn to the transparency and versatility of watercolour, I paint on various surfaces, and I enjoy the unpredictability of watercolour. The rich tapestry of colours and movement on the paper all give life to a painting and artistically, there is nothing more exciting.
