Growing up in England, I’ve always been passionate about drawing and the arts, with encouragement from those around me to pursue my creativity. Later in life, I was fortunate to continue my creative studies and, working alongside fellow artists at the Armadale Art Society, I have developed my artistic practice. I’ve received several prestigious art awards and have exhibited at exclusive art exhibitions throughout Western Australia.
Recently, my work has begun to focus on the beauty of our indigenous flora and fauna. I travel both near and far for inspiration, continually marvelling at nature’s perfection, which is often overlooked. It wasn’t until I explored the intricate colours and details of each flower and feather that I truly appreciated them.
