I make textile and mixed media art that is rich with layers of colour, texture and pattern. My inspiration often comes from nature, especially from my home environment in Roleystone. I believe art can communicate more effectively than words, so it’s very special when it makes a connection with people. The idea of making something precious from offcuts or found materials helps me to work intuitively, playing with different ideas and techniques without fear.
