Multiple mediums painting – acrylic, watercolour, oil
Throughout my life painting has been a love and a hobby. Since 2015 I have explored and developed my art through multiple painting mediums. I am primarily a landscape and seascape artist, intent on capturing nature’s contrasting beauty and mood. I enjoy incorporating items of nature in my toolkit, recycling materials and experimenting in processes.
Australian landscape painter, plein air and studio work
Visiting Broome in 1968 inspired me for painting. Although I use all mediums, I now paint mainly Australian landscapes and the Kimberley using acrylics. The colours and atmosphere of the Kimberley are an exciting challenge to capture on canvas.
Painting – acrylic and watercolour
As an artist I am drawn to nature and enjoy painting with the intention of capturing light and atmosphere where possible, my preferred mediums are acrylics and watercolour although I do enjoy the challenge of different mediums and subjects.
