A resident in the Kimberley for a decade, I started using pearl and gold dust, together with the outback ochres portraying and celebrating the uniqueness of the Australian North landscape. As an artist, I am always respectful of the way I interpret land and all its cultural spirituality. My work honours the isolation and the texture of the landscape in a contemporary interpretation. Here against the natural walls of the Waterwheel Gallery, my work merges with the earth itself.
