Over the past year, my artistic focus has evolved to reflect my growing concern for the changing Australian environment and the impact of habitat loss on our native wildlife. Spending time photographing black cockatoos in their natural habitat has deepened my appreciation for these remarkable birds. Working primarily in acrylics, I am inspired by their hidden iridescent colours and unique personalities and aim to create an emotional connection with viewers while raising awareness of the challenges these endangered birds face.
