I always had a passion for watercolours particularly the way it flows on paper. After retiring in 2005 I made it my ambition to learn the technique of watercolours by attending classes which I did for two years. During that time I became interested in landscapes, and the structure and anatomy of trees. I also enjoy old buildings which I also base my paintings on today. I am a member of the Watercolour Society of WA and the Armadale Society of Artists.
