Apart from my time spent in the army and steel industry, I have spent most of my life drawing cartoons and illustrating. As a freelance cartoonist my work has appeared in major magazines in Australia and overseas. I have been fortunate enough to have won five Stanley awards presented annual by the Australian Cartoonist Association as well as the 2023 Cartoon of the Year for Rotary Awards Bunker Gallery. With encouragement from my partner Sandy, over the past several years, turned my hand to acrylic painting and together we have created surf boards and wall murals.
